We’re not sure how automakers are continuing to sell optional navigation systems with price tags in the four-digit range when aftermarket companies are delivering new cheap, portable alternatives almost daily. The latest we found is this Sanyo NVM-4030. It comes pre-loaded with a full U.S. map and has Bluetooth capability so you can use your Bluetooth cell phone hands-free. It also plays MP3s and, oh yeah, has turn-by-turn voice-guided directions. For $399, the Sanyo is very competitive with other players in the market.
