General Motors has been working hard to reduce the amount of incentives on its vehicles in order to raise resale and residual values. Today we learn that because of slow January sales, incentives are coming back to some areas.
In the Midwest and Northeast there will be $500 cash back on almost all GM cars and trucks. This excludes “hot” cars like: Pontiac Solstice, Saturn Sky, Chevy Corvette Z06, Saturn Vue Hybrid, medium-duty trucks and all Hummers, Cadillac and Saabs.
The rest of the country gets 0% financing for 36 months on most 2006-2007 cars and trucks. There will 0% for 60 months will also be offered on the following vehicles: Chevy Malibu, Saturn Vue, Buick Lucerne and Pontiac Grand Prix. The same list of excluded vehicles also applies to the financing offers.
